Wall capping is utilised to cover the peak portion of the walls and can be harmonised to blend with the pier caps. They are intended to render a protective top surface for any kind of wall-like structure.

- Wall caps protect the wall from tough weather conditions like cold (winter), hot (summer) and wet (rainy) as well as render visual aesthetics by augmenting the look of the wall structure.
- To lend security and splendour, precast concrete wall caps (coping) can be fixed on any wall. Coping is available in four different types namely flat, tiered, ridged and round; also, end and corner pieces are available in most of the sizes.

When determining the size of wall cap that needs to be used, obtain the width size by measuring the wall’s width and then add as a minimum 3/4″ on all sides for overhang. An overhang will shield the wall underneath as it will let the water to drip off of the edge. For instance, an 8″ wall would require as a minimum a 9 5/8″ wide coping.
